This course has been extensively researched.  It can help by focusing our attention on the present moment and not get swept up in worrying or negative thoughts about the past or future; a regular practice can help us to:
learn to cope better with the pressures we’re under;
recognise the thoughts and judgements we make, often subconsciously, that generate more stress;
find balance and a sense of calm.

The course includes: 

  • Formal meditation practices – breath awareness, body scan, mindful movement
  • Informal mindfulness practices which will help you integrate mindfulness into your daily life
  • Discussion time and taught theory

To optimise the benefits of the course daily home practise is recommended.
